Saturday Show and Tell: New Iris and Hibiscuses!

Well it's my first real day off in a few weeks, so I'm pretty excited to hurry up and relax. ;)  Paul is working on our next big show's application, so I will laze back and throw a blog post up here for you guys to see our newest flowers.  Some of these have sold (last week's Iris Festival was great for selling our irises!), but it gives a good idea of the botanical creations we'll be bringing to the Temecula Valley Balloon and Wine Festival next weekend (May 31-June 2, 2013). :)
Amber Reddish Hibiscus Pendant

Yellow and Red Hibiscus Pendant
Yellow and Red Hibiscus Earrings, matching pendant above (but a little more bold since they're earrings)
My Cute Blue and Yellow Iris Pendant!
We've got lots more up our sleeves, so be sure to check back here or on Facebook.  Our Facebook page will likely get the most attention in the coming weeks though, as we can post from anywhere!).  Thanks for reading again! :)

Hibiscus Flowers and a new Daffodil!

This will be a quick post just to show off my pretty new flowers. New birds made also, which I'll have to show off later, so come back soon! :)

Spring Forward/Spring Flowers!

We're ramping up for the Spring shows, including the Highland Citrus Harvest Festival and the Hillside Farm Spring Boutique (Norco).  Our Events page on the website will be updated each week with the upcoming show dates, and I'm adding them pretty often as we apply for and get accepted to new shows. :)  Busy bees!  Well, I'll have new bees another week, but today's fancy is my pair of pansies.  I will modify my design a bit, but here are the freshest flowers to spring up from my kiln:

Sunday, August 1, 2010

Happy Sunday folks!  It's a day for relaxation, and that's just what I'll do after my morning lesson ;)  Relaxing is great, but Sundays are also good for sneaking some exercise into your weekend...  Once we get into our summer groove, we'll start hiking more, like this photo of Paul I took on a morning hike:

Lots of inspiration can be found in nature, as these flowers are so lovely!  Cute critters and wonderful wildflowers everywhere, though I think this time of the season there might not be as many blossoms...

Next Sunday, maybe some new flowers?  I did make a lovely purple and white one last week... Stick around!
